Agency and media companies largely try to fit social tactics into a traditional campaign - with spotty results because it can&#039;t be sustained and social media is about sustained engagement. 

The basics have not changed 1 + 1 = many - but how it gets done is not so clear and very much tech dependent.  

That&#039;s why I &quot;hate&quot; the term social media :)
